Remarkable resin carved sculpture of a swan graces your home this season. With the appearance of wood, the beautiful swan features a chipped paint application resulting in a worn, antiqued look. The distressing achieved allows for black paint underneath to be shown, which creates texture to the birds "feathers." Other details include the swan's sharp orange eyes, a black beak and a delicately bent neck, as if she's saying hello. The removable head piece allows for easy storage and can be clicked back into place when in use. Let this swan glide into your country home today. Imported. 9.5"H x 15"L
- A Beautiful Swan Review by
- I have had this swan for several months and I think that it is wonderful. The detail is very well done. It is a nice addition to my small collection of swans. I recommend this product. (Posted on 10/26/13)
- Very pleased Review by
- Ohhh, according to the previous reviewer, I must have really bad taste. So it goes. I love my swan. It was a gift that I had picked out and asked for, as I had wanted a primitive swan for years and had looked for one without success. It is just the perfect size to sit on a dining room table as part of a centerpiece grouping, and I enjoyed it all thru the holiday season and into spring. Sadly, it had it's neck broken in a cat induced accident, and so I am ordering another one today. I am glad it is still in stock. (Posted on 10/16/13)
- poor quality Review by
- The quality of this swan was so bad that it should be considered defective. (poorly made and huge paint runs) I didn't think that with the name "Sturbridge Yankee",the merchandise would be imported from China, which it was. Considering the shipping costs to order it, the shipping to send it back and $9.00 being deducted for a return item, there was no point in returning the item. It was to be a Christmas present, but I was too embarrased to give it. I will never, never order from Sturbridge Yankee again! (Posted on 3/27/12)
