Overall3 out of 5 stars.

Quality Excellent!

What is your opinion of this product?

Let me start off by saying the quality of this table is excellent! I also bought 2 end tables. I would give the tables 6 stars!! Very happy with the tables but the customer service and communication was lacking to say the least. I ordered these tables and heard nothing from Sturbridge Yankee (SY). So I called them. They asked if I signed the "freight letter". Sorry no I missed that on the website. So they mailed me a freight letter to sign and return. This took about 2 weeks total. The freight letter almost made me back out of this purchase. I paid almost $300. delivery and the freight letter said curbside delivery and I would need to assist the driver unloading from the truck. What? Well my driver was very nice and used his pallet jack to deliver the 3 boxes into my garage. Next issue was the driver did not want to wait while I inspected the tables as my freight letter stated he would. We did open 1 box because the box was torn and re-taped. Everything was fine, the table were all packaged very well. The freight letter that I was mailed was different from the freight letter on the web page. After I signed the freight letter and mailed it back I did not hear from SY so I called them to see if they received my freight letter and they informed me, NO. The gentleman I spoke with said it would take 6 weeks for delivery after they receive the letter. (Webpage says 3 weeks) 4 days later I decided I was going to back out of this order so I emailed and called SY to get a refund and was informed the tables were shipped. What? No email saying my freight had shipped? This was on a Monday and my tables were to be delivered on Wednesday. The tables had already shipped when I spoke with the gentleman. Now to the delivery. My freight letter says UPS Freight will call me to set up a delivery window. I did not hear from them, big surprise. So the next morning (Monday) I call SY then UPS Frieght trying to track down this shipment and get a delivery time window. Now they tell me my tables are going to be delivered on Friday not Wednesday. Why are the tables being delivered on Friday when the tracking info on the webpage says Wednesday. So Wednesday morning, thank goodness I was home because here comes a huge freight truck delivering my tables. What a mess!! Happy to finally receive the tables and they are beautiful but what a mess of communication between SY and UPS, they need to get their act together.
