No flower says Christmas quite like the poinsettia. Here are some interesting facts about the flower and some of our favorite ways of decorating with this brightly colored blossom.
The colored parts of the poinsettia that we most often think of as the "flower" are actually colored bracts, a modified leaf or scale with a flower or flower cluster in its center. Bracts are sometimes larger and more brightly colored than the true flower, as in our favorite poinsettias.
