The detailed images on this reversible placemat will remind you of walking through an orchard on a rural country farm. An image of a bushel of apples hung from a tree branch takes the forefront, while an alternate image exposes the fruit's core. A brief stanza of manuscript adds time period details above the sketch of a farmhouse, as it explains: "Red Delicious Apples were first grown in an Iowa orchard in 1880." The reverse features the same design concept, but this time honors the pear. A complementing red or green border and white blossom flowers, frame the placemat imagery.
