FIBER INFORMATION:

Jute is one of the strongest natural fibers known to man. Before the invention of steel cable, jute rope was the preferred rope material on clipper ships. Our braided jute rugs are naturally fire retardant; they can be used safely around fireplaces and in kitchens. We like to call jute braids "true braids" since they do not have a core inside like flat braids. Jute is also naturally moth proof. Jute is grown from the earth like flax. It is biodegradeable, making it eco-friendly and green.


RUG CARE:

Jute rugs and chair pads are not suitable for
