- WAAAAAAYYYY overpriced for what you get Review by
- By the time I paid an outrageous $16.99 for P&H for this 2 1/2lb box which was mostly paper and bubble wrap, this item came in at well over $100 for a bulb socket, a wire cage, and a cloth-covered power wire that was slightedly frayed straight out of the package (I immediately wrapped that part with black tape). The pulley function is totally dependent upon a tiny, cheap cotter pin which I easily lost when trying to reassemble things (right now it has a paper clip holding things together). Finally I gave up on the pulley and decided to drape the light fixture over the sturdy wooden curtain rod above my kitchen sink, wrapping the cord a couple of times around the rod. I will live with this a short time and see if it's a keeper or a return. :( (Posted on 2/9/16)
