Humble Beginnings

Starting out painting small watercolors at home in 1982, admiration for Susan Winget’s art across the country is as strong as her love for the craft. After a few years of shipping from their garage, and realizing extra space for creating and filling orders was needed, Susan Winget and her husband decided to build a studio in the pasture behind their North Carolina farmhouse. In 1992 she began putting her designs on a variety of home décor products, many of which you can find here at Sturbridge Yankee Workshop.		 Purple Primrose Pillow

Country Charm and Inspiration

Over ten years and one more studio move later, artist Susan Winget and her team continue to enjoy working with each other and in this creative industry. They love providing families and individuals with quality, charming décor that offers seasonal and year-round comfort in their homes. Country living provides a great amount of inspiration for Susan Winget, most of which comes from her family’s farm. Nature and rural whimsy can be found in all of her designs, from pillows to doormats, signs and coasters.
