Artist Dianna Swartz

Country Visit Hen Doormat

Folk artist Dianna Swartz was born and raised near the hills of Southern Ohio, and was drawing and painting before she could walk or talk. Generally speaking she is a self-taught artist, crediting her inspiration to God. Her artwork has been featured at the American Folk Art Museum in New York and has been transferred to many household decor items such as: pillows, throws, doormats, furniture boxes and even wallpaper! Dianna even had the honor of designing ornaments for the White House Christmas tree, as well as for the Ohio Governor's residence.

Season Prints

Folk Art Charm

A selection of prints that has proven very popular with Sturbridge Yankee Workshop customers is our collection of folk art prints, especially those showcasing the changing seasons, Presidents and often their First Ladies, as well as other Americana themed items.

These charming country style prints can be displayed individually or with others as a collection to grace a mantel space or wall. Each one offers a simple and quaint theme that provides an old-time look for your home.

Effortless Brush Strokes

Dianna Swartz has become known for her clean, simple lines, warm colors and picturesque scenes. She claims that sometimes she herself is amazed at the wonderful results she achieves in her paintings. Much of her artwork translates well onto more than just print reproductions, as seen here on the coordinating scottie doormat and hooked wool pillow. In addition, the charming pie image on the Country Recipe Box will store your cherished recipes in folk art style.
