How To Pop Perfect Popcorn...The Old Fashioned Way
STOVE TOP COOKING:
-Add three tablespoons of oil to the popper.
-Heat on medium heat until hot.
-Add one-third cup of popcorn or enough to cover the bottom of the popper.
-Shake pan until corn stops popping.
-Remove from heat, turn popper upside down and shake to release any unpopped kernels.
-Add butter and salt to taste.
OPEN FIRE COOKING:
-Use the same directions as above, but hold the popper slightly above the flame.
-Remove the pan from the flame when popping begins to stop.
